Okay… so it’s been a couple weeks. I lost my job a few weeks ago, and we all know that’s common in this economy (I was working for Weddingbee.com, the top wedding blog, and I loved it). Facing the reality of being back “on the market” with so many other people, I took some time to do tons of thinking, visit some friends, and now I’m back, ready to catch up with all the seriously astounding stuff selling on eBay right now. I still am not sure what exactly I’m going to do now, but I will have to at least temporarily leave NYC and head home to Miami. I’m moving back in about a week. After seeing all the eBay auctions I missed, I’ve been fantasizing about becoming a “professional eBay shopper”. Talk about a dream job!
Armani Lace Skirt. I mean, come on, just look at it. This is AMAAAAAAAAZING. It retailed for $2695… yeah, and it sold on eBay for $249.99 with the original tags attached… yep. I want to offer mega-congrats to whoever out there won this life-altering skirt on eBay.
Someone nabbed these incredible, embroidered shearling Miu Miu boots. I envy the winner, who got these beauties for just $82.
Whiting & Davis Blue Mesh Handbag. I never imagined loving a mesh handbag until I saw this. Retailed for $300, sold for $74.99.

There are so many deals on cool stuff going on this week, I am totally (and happily) overwhelmed. Here’s everything that caught my eye.

Neon Life Vintage is a great little stop if you love quirky vintage pieces with unusual details. I had never seen an 80’s pastel-floral-fringed jacket actually look good until I saw the one they’re selling right now. I also have no idea how they found a denim studded jumpsuit that look cute. Ikahn Vintage has an unusual mix of vintage 70’s and 80’s items with contemporary lines such as Ya-Ya, Rebecca Taylor, Tocca, and Vena Cava. They caught my eye this week with one of the coolest 80’s jumpsuits I’ve ever seen. Plus they squeeze in a few cool shoes and accessories, so check them out!

This store discloses it’s US location as “Hipsters Playground” rather than naming the actual city. I’d love to take some guesses as to where that is, but it doesn’t matter. What matters is that their clothes are cool. They offer a carefully chosen variety of vintage items that are in excellent condition. You won’t find any flaws here, but you will find some super 80’s gear, leather, lace, and sequins.

I just came across this brand in this month’s Instyle Magazine issue (with Kate Winslet on the cover) and already fell in love with it. This watch retails for $175 and I think these two on eBay are going to end well under $100.
